Being an avid reader and liking the books in the theme of philosophy, psychology, spirituality and indian yogic practices, traditional way of life, hasth mudra, energy healing etc., I shall try to list recommended books and sometimes a gist of the books I read. I recently got interested in the human brain, cognitive psychology and human behavior, which I find one of the most important subject to know why we do, act, think, the way we do. Reading is a habit where we connect with the expereinces of others. It is not necessary to remember what you read in a good book but imbibe it in your thoughts, beliefs and practices. The whole being of yours changes unknowingly if one develops a companion with good books free of dogmas.
The environment around brings to us a variety of stimuli for positive and negative emotional as well as thought provoking responses. Recording these thoughts and revisiting helps us know ourselves and our evolution as we age. Here, you will find my thoughts as and when it occurs to me.
Photography is one of the hobbies in addition to general reading. It is always a pleasure to capture the moments you witness during your visits to places. Sometimes, one travels and move around particularly with a thought that it would give opportunities to have some good photographs. I find pleasure in this hobby as this keeps me focused and also allows me to be mindful as it absorbs you. You will find here my trials with photography. I like capturing the nature, interesting architectures and landscapes.
Sometimes, I engage myself in making educational videos particularly meant for education of children and social issues. These videos do not dwell upon the school curricula but answers some of the basic questions related to the spirit of inquiry and scientific temper. Social issues have not been taken up here as yet but it will highlight some of the daily hurdles people face due to the ignorance of general populace, which renders development or habit of unhealthy practices in the social circles.
